kikki k.

It's like osmosis. Like how some people feel that if they have awesome sports gear, they will exercise more, and even if they don't, just having awesome sports gear will make them get fit and skinny.

Well this is my relationship with kikki k. If i splurge on beautiful, clean, MATCHING stationary, I will clearly become more organized and smarter and more creative. Although, there is some truth to this. I will plan better, because I have a cool wall planner. I will write more often, with my matching pens. I will study more, because all my notes will be in my lovely book. I will make notes for my friends and my wall, with my strange but fantastic stamps. Really, I will just be a happy person because I have beautiful stationary, and as Lizzie will atest to (being a fellow art student), beautiful stationary is one of those incredibly necessary luxuries in life.

I have recently acquired most of the above, with the exception of the envelope necklace (my sister has the scissors), the greeting stamps and the monthly planner. Couldn't find a picture of their BRILLIANT wall planner!

All good things come in threes.

When it comes to people, I like three being a crowd. It's a good number.

P.S. Lizzie I also like our two-person crowd. Let's be exciting sometime soon x

Capsule

I definitely feel that one could compose an entire capsule wardrobe from the following of my favorite things: sneakers (chucks and keds), ballet flats, grey marle, one teaspoon, butter nail polish, karen walker jewellery and bows. This would suffice for a significant period of time for me.

Capsule
Above: KW jewellery, Butter Nail Polish, One Teaspoon outfits, KW Orange and Blue dresses, KW Grey ruffled dress, Zimmermann grey strappy dress, Bloch and Repetto flats, Chuck Taylors and Keds. Bows from American Apparel and Hunter Gatherer.
PS. I have just changed Universities and am now at AUT with Lizzie - loving my Communications and Business courses so far!
Hope university is going well for all you students!

kw.

Love her or not-so-much love her, she's an incredible designer who is helping NZ fashion become known all over the world. What she makes isn't always my cup of tea, but I adore her jewellery (I have her small gold bow earrings, the small silver skull and am getting the HALLELUJAH ring next week!) and she does wonderful things with grey marle. Which Lizzie will tell you is pretty much my favourite fabric ever. Except for the horrific sweat patches it gives you. . . anyone got a secret for avoiding those? Grey is a shocker colour to wear when it's hot.

So, back to KW. Loved the ad for the new collection on the back of VIVA yesterday, will post if i get the chance to scan it. Am excited for the purchase of maybe a new t-shirt dress??

Here's some of my loves from the collections coming out on Sat (but I haven't finished going through them).

Dedicated.

Firstly, apologies for all the overly personal posts lately. Although I understand and appreciate that there is a world beyond my own, I'm kind of caught up in the crazy of summer and loving just being with my amazing friends and revelling in the greatness of the kiwi summer.

This post is dedicated to my beautiful friends Georgia and Sutherland, because they inspire me every day! We have many in-jokes and token songs, but we're close because we're better people when we're together. True story. And I learn lots from them, like things about type faces (Georgia's new obsession), fashion, organization, FITNESS, nail colours, new songs and life lessons. Not knowing much myself about typefaces, I decided to avoid this completely, and
instead have compiled pictures and cool-looking (but probably totally type-incorrect) words that best represent how awesome you are.

Love xx
