Baby Ballerinas.

Vogue Enfants.

On a bit of a ballet buzz at the moment, but realize that in the insanity that is my life, there is definitely not the time or energy to dedicate to getting into it. Would love to be able to go on pointe one day, but sadly requires a lot of commitment as a 'mature' dancer (I'm only 19 for chrissake!).

Shoes.

The window of Rubi Shoes, which I took a photo of last year, but my friend Nat's pic is better. So true.

We're crazy busy at the moment with uni and being away for the holidays. We haven't forgotten about trashyclassy, don't you worry.

WhiteOut.

Oh, to be waltzing down the street in yards of white fabric and thirty degree heat. I wish. Amy xx --> Harpers Bazaar USA April 2011

Studded Hearts.

One of my favorite blogs - Studded Hearts posts fabulous editorials (often from magazines from past years), celebrity photos and things that are just plain cute. These are some of my favorite photos from my vast collection from this blog =)

Chanel + Carine + Freja!

According to fashionista.com, who heard it from WWD, Carine Roitfeld has recently styled Chanel's fall campaign, with Freja Beha Erichsen. That's like three of my favorites in one - cannot wait to see these pictures when they finally come out!!!!

Huffer.

Not normally a fan of Huffer, but their winter 2011 stuff looks amazing! I would happily have every single piece!

Sorry for the crap quality photos - there aren't any high quality saveable ones that i can find! Fail Huffer. How am I supposed to make wishlists now? Their catalogue is available on www.huffer.co.nz.

Aimee McFarlane took charge of Huffer last year, after a long stint with Lonely Hearts. Personally, I absolutely love her Huffer stuff, and even though it's not much like what she did for LH, it certainly works =)

Have a good weekend!! Amy xx

This Week

Wanting: All things velvet. I can't help myself. I should warn you now there will probably be a lengthy post dedicated to it soon!

Reading: The Female Brain by Louann Brizendine. Helps a lot if you're wondering why women (me) are so crazy.

Listening to: Thieves Like Us, Diane Birch, The Vaccines, Six60, Alexi Murdoch, and and I also listened to some of the stuff on Burberry Acoustic. But mostly I've just been playing Rebecca Black on loop. Also the sound of rain, which in itself is lovely, but also tells me it's not summer anymore, which in some ways is not so lovely.

Buying: Just bought a huge black felt hat and some shearling boots. Pretty happy with those purchases. Even better, the ice cream at Kuaotunu.

Watching: Season 5 Skins finale. I think possibly the best season yet, and pretty amazing actors. If you haven't watched it yet, you should. Also, I just rented The Wackness (Josh Peck, Olivia Thirlby). Although it wasn't the most uplifting film I've seen, it was weird, and I'm going to warn you now, there were a couple of extremely awkward sex scenes, I really liked it anyway.

Eating: My parents' 25th wedding anniversary cake, and pretty much the entire vegetarian section of the menu at The Maple Room.

Making: A pile of sheer skirts and more skater dresses for friends. I managed to spend over $60 at Nick's last week, and considering how cheap their fabric is, that's a lot of metres.

Wishing you all a wonderful week at uni, work or whatever you're up to!
